The Business Woman's Guide to Seven Steps to Better Self-Esteem and Self-Confidence

Business women, are you ready to increase your self-esteem, build your self-confidence and know exactly what motivates you to live your best life ever? If so, you are about to meet a brief challenge that could help you change the way you think about your future forever. It may not look like a lot of effort, but I want you to take time to answer the following seven questions so you can come to a realization of what you want to get out of your life.

Living your life with self-confidence means pursuing your true life purpose and goals. You have a purpose for existing on this planet. You have a reason to work and to share your skills and talents with others. Take a look at the following questions and take some time to think about the responses you feel to them in your heart. Write down all the possible answers to the above questions no matter how silly or unimportant your response may seem to be. Put all your desires on paper that answers any of the above questions.

What makes your heart beat with excitement?

Sit and visualize yourself doing what you love in life. When you do this, what is it that you're doing? What can you day ream about for hours and never grow tired of considering? You might have this on your mind as you drive to work each morning. You'd rather be doing this activity than anything else at all. Take time to daydream a bit and write down that dream.

What makes you happy?

You might have dreams about things but what about that dream really makes you happy? Is it the fact that you would be doing work that takes you outdoors? Would you work in a beautiful setting and surroundings? Would you get to travel everyday, cook, create something new, or write? What is it that makes you happy about this dream?

What are you constantly thinking of day and night?

What comes to your mind no matter what you're doing? Are you constantly thinking about how you could do things better if you were the leader? Are you thinking of how you could give great seminars and take the topic others would want to attend?

What do you want to do with the rest of your life?

Everyday is another day for you to do something with the rest of your life. Some people seem to think that at a certain age, being able to do new things in life stops. But at what point do you have the right to decide you're going to live your life in misery because you don't want to try something new? You want to be sure to protect what you have for the unknown future of course, but you are smart enough to build a new business or learn how to bring in a new source of income and still hold on to what you already have, no matter your age. You have the responsibility to live your life to the fullest, and you need to stop and look at the questions of what you want to do with the rest of your life.

What do you enjoy doing?

You've looked at your dream of what makes you happy and what you think about a lot, but what do you enjoy doing? You might see yourself being in front of a lot of people talking because you admire speakers, but the thought of doing public speaking makes you feel like fainting. So you have to think, what do you enjoy doing? You might admire public speakers and want to influence others with words. So maybe your way of doing this is to write words, or do a recorded seminar online, with you speaking into a microphone in the privacy of your home. You don't have to be in front of anyone else but it's a way to influence others with your words. With Internet technology, you can now do this without ever having to get in front of a crowd through teleseminars. People never see you face to face but you still interact on a semi-personal basis. So think of what you enjoy doing and the way to do what you enjoy will follow.

What are your obsessions?

You could have many obsessions in your life. You might be obsessed with chocolate, taking long walks, reading books, meeting others, teaching or many other types of things. You can find ways to bring all of your obsessions into what you want to do in your life and do it well. To increase your self-esteem, you have to do in life what you really want to do the most. When you deny yourself the opportunity to really experiment with what's on your mind, you always live beneath your true potential. There gives you the feeling that something is missing in your life. This can sap your excitement and make you feel less motivated to pursue anything. So think of your obsessions and how you could turn these into something you could use in your life to also reach your personal goals.

What things make you jump for joy?

After you've been through the first six questions, you are reaching the point where knowing what makes you jump for you a reality. You can now start to identify the direction you really want to go in your life that will help you increase your self-esteem and build your self-confidence in ways that could never happen when you continue to push your dreams away from your mind.

Although you might have a lot of life ahead of you, don't waste even one more day of your life living below your potential. Your self-esteem and self-confidence will suffer when you deny yourself what you really want to do in life. Give yourself a gift by reviewing these questions in a way that lets you come to a truth in your life of what you want to do. You really might surprise yourself and start on a path that opens up new motivation and excitement you never expected.
